Hi,
I am using a webservice which returns data which I am splitting by a comma. Most of the time it works perfectly but some names are using a comma within. Here a sample:
,,"SOME NAME HERE, INC",,
In the above you will see:
"SOME NAME HERE, INC"
which if split by a comma and will display as 2 fields when it should be 1 (returning 6 fields not 5). The data is surrounded by " (chr(34)) chars.
How to detect this and get around this issue, please?
