Don't want visited links to be purple for special case, using style in HTML anchor tag...

I am tring to make the HTML anchor not show the visited link as a purple link.  And I am trying to do it without a style sheet, by embedding the style in the anchor tag like this:

<br /> <br /><a href="Http://www.MyWebSite.com" target="_Blank" style="a:link:blue;a:visited:blue;">Our Website</a><br />

I have tried this with a:link and link:

<br /> <br /><a href="Http://www.MyWebSite.com" target="_Blank" style="link:blue;visited:blue;">Our Website</a><br />

does anyone know what is wrong with my style declaration?
