Common web.config for two websites

Hi all,
I have a deluxe hosting account at godaddy, i opted that because it allows you to host multiple domains, but now they say only one web.config is allowed per hosting account, dont know whats the use of multiple domain then, anyway the problem is following :-
I have two websites with one using profile properties, membership properties and an sql database, these settings are configured in web.config , the other website is a simple one and doesn't use any of these features , is it possible that a common web.config be used for these websites which are totally different....if yes then please let me know , if u can provide a solution , i can provide the content for both web.config's and u can make them into one by adding or deleting few things and making the web.config compatible for both websites.
