viewstate on variables

Hello, I have a SqlDataSource that brings me 6 cols of information; I binded 1 listview to it to get 2 (value, text) from it; but now I dont know how to get the other values and send them to a RefVars() array variable and I need the info in it after any postback. Is there a way to do this with variables or do I have to get all data in different "hidden" controls with ViewState=True ?
pd: I do need an array variable, because I need to store not only more data but I need an index to know what data I need to show.
