I have a strange problem. I'm using ASP to send a e-mail automatically, and for weeks this has been working without a hitch. Recently however, the SMTPClient has stopped working. A colleague of mine has been having the same issue at the same time so we blamed our ISP, but they denied it. After multiple tests, I realised that if I start a new project, the same parameters work as a charm.
I can't imagine why we would be having the same issue at the same time when both our code bases are completely separate. The connection we are trying to establish is very basic and we receive no error messages. We have been unable to try it on another SMTP server either, because we don't have access to one. I'm not sure what else I can do, porting all my code into another project did not work. Any ideas?
