Hi,
I'm a bit of a noob so pardon the simplicity of what i'm about to ask.
I've developed my first project and brokien it down in tiers. I have a separate BusinessObjects tier that only exactly what it says. No logic just objects.
I have a number of objects that are pretty much core to the project - Stores, Products, Reviews etc.
The question I have is this. Is it ok to pass an object to a static method rather than individual properties.
The example I'm thinking of is an OnItemDataBound where the item is a repeater.
Once I have cast the repeater to the type I can then use it with extension methods like this:
review.GetAuthor()
instead of:
ReviewTagsUI.GetAuthor(review.StoreId);
Seems a lot neater to me.
Thanks for the advice.
John
