I asked a question previously, but I didn't get an answer. I suspect it's because the scenario I pointed out was a little complex so I'll rephrase the question, in the hope that someone has the answer.
When working with client-side validation controls it is possible to update the validator display without having it revalidate. Is there a way of doing this server side too? What I'm trying to do is set the validators isValid property in code and then update its display without it having to perform any validation itself.
