Sending email from .net with a hyperlink included

I'm trying to send an email using SmtpClient with a hyperlink inside the body.  The email sends and the hyperlink is in it.  The problem is that either outlook is ignoring the <a href....> Text </a> and showing the actual URL  through its own formatting, or I am not passing the string correctly.  I have tried two different ways with identical output.  Any help?
