I have a very wiered problem.
I'm using Forms authentication with a custom membership provider. Everything works fine when i run the code from App_Code. But after I have compiled and placed the code in Bin. When I try to login my login fails saying Your login attempt was not successful. Please try again. I have used a basic Login Control. One interesting note is that if I strip the login page of images it works fine. I have allowed my images folder to be accessed by * by placing a web.config in the images directory.
Would really appreciate any help in this. Sounds wiered
