I have a form that autofills with values from a querystring.  The form is then submitted to the DB.
When someone changes the querystring value in a textbox and then clicks the button that form value submits the original querystring value instead of the NEW typed in value. Why is this happening?
Here is my code:

Protected Sub Page_Load(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Me.Load hotelName.Text = Request.QueryString("hotelName") End Sub Protected Sub Button1_Click(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button1.Click Dim tCon As SqlConnection = New SqlConnection(WebConfigurationManager.ConnectionStrings("bestvenues").ConnectionString) tCon.Open() Dim tCmd As SqlCommand = New SqlCommand tCmd = New SqlCommand() With tCmd .Connection = tCon .Comm ...

Go to the complete details ...
