I am using forms authentication and once the user is authenticated, I am creating the ticket and cookie manually using the code below.
When I log on, then look at the cookies folder via IE, I can't find the cookie, even though everything is working. I know all cookies get
created here, I just want to make sure I have a solid understanding. Also, if I set the FormsAuthenticationTicket Parameter "IsPersistent = false",
does that mean it is a Session Cookie and if it is true it is a cookie created on the client?

FormsAuthenticationTicket ticket = new FormsAuthenticationTicket(
1, username, DateTime.Now, DateTime.Now.AddMinutes(30),true,UserId.ToString());

string encryptedTicket = FormsAuthentication.Encrypt(ticket);
HttpCookie authenicationCookie = new HttpCookie(FormsAuthentication.FormsCookieName, encryptedTicket); ...

Go to the complete details ...
