Hi
I was just trying to debug remotly:
The webapplication is on the webserver in the same domain as the workstation with Visual Studio 2008 Professional.
To be sure I tried out both versions, x86 and x64 of remote debugging monitor.
For testing I turned off both firewalls (webserver and workstation firewall).
In the remote debugging tool I added the domain user, which is logged in on the workstation, where I work with VS 2008.
After starting remote debugging monitor on the webserver, I try to attach from the workstation to the webserver with "Attach to process ...".
Visual Studio cannot connect, since ". . .msvsmon.exe does not appear to be running on the remote computer . . ."
That means, that even before I can choose to which process on the webserver I want to connect, I have an error.
By the way: The remote debug monitor on the webserver starts and runs fine.
Thanks a lot for yo ...
