I have created a small application that I want 2 other people in our office to share the data. I created the app with vb 2010 express and sqlexpress on my workstation (EWRK01). Is it better to have a sql server instance loaded on our network
server (ESRV01) with the app also located on the server with a shortcut to the app on each workstation, or should I load the app on each workstation and only have the database located on the server? Also I have copied the mdf and log files to a
folder on the server but have not been able to access that database using the app on my workstation. I have tried a variety of connection strings identifying the sql server on the workstation and the sql server on the network server. Any assistance
would be appreciated.
