My ASP.net app opens a word template and populates it with custom data using WordAutomation. At that point, the dynamically generated word document is still in memory. I don't want to save it on the server but directly send it back to client. I like the client either is prompted with a file download dialog or opens the doc directly. Please could you tell me how to do that?

I think I might need Response object to do that, for example, Response.BinaryWrite , but I don't know how exactly I should do.

Many thanks.
