Hi, I could use some assistance with the situation I'm in. We recently received a data dump from a company that houses some of our data. They gave it to us in .sqb format, I then converted that to a .bak in order to try and get it into sql server to view/modify the data if needed. They also said the backups are in SQL2008 format, so I need SQL2008 to restore it. So I downloaded sql express 2008, but it only had a 4gb max, so couldn't open the file. I then finally upgraded to r2 which got me up to 10gb, problem is the file is about 22gb...so what are my options here?
Do I have to purchase software? Is there a program that will at least allow me to view the data? Any suggestions?
Thanks,
