I am attempting my first project in ASP with VB using VS2008. My first challange is to write a login form so that I can get past our traditional problem of users sharing user computers. What this means is that the pc my be signed on an account against the company domain that is not theirs. So I want to force the user to enter their Domain userid and password, authenticate it against the domain and then allow access. I have found some good information about how to setup the membership and probably learned more than I wanted to know about domains in the process. My problem is that although I am syntactically correct, my username/password(easy test) never authenticates.Here is what I have in my web.config file.
