Extremely !! new to ASP but familiar with VB.NET language. Using VS2008 to create new website.
I navigate to a page that has a menu control. When an item from the menu is selected I read a database and select records based on the criteria. Based on the number of records selected, I dynamically load imagemap controls to another placeholder control.
I know that I am retrieving the correct data for the imageURL from the db and the correct number of imagemap fields are displayed on the form. The problem is that the correct image is not displayed - just the blank control with the AlternateText field value that I also set.
All images are held in a folder "Images" located under the main wesite directory. This path is saved in the db.
I have played around with the format of the imageurl in the db;
tried absolute path "C:\my documents\.......
tried images ...
