Extract filenames from a folder

Hi,
I am developing a web application with ASP.NET 3.5 and C#.NET and VisualStudio.NET 2008.
I am sending XML files to the server and my application have to parse them, i am using a program to test if the folder which contain the xml files are empty or not but i do not know how to extract the filenames to parse them.
