I was checking my dataset to see if it was empty to hide portion of my controls.. but even though i pass a value that has no records returned it still returns the controls all empty on the screen.. When i debug it using my value below, which returns nothing, the condition is met and jumps to the else statement.. that works, so why is my dropdown not being populated? now that i pushed it on to the dev server its not working so need to figure out how to get it working so it can be tested.
