Hey everyone 2 days new to ASP.NET.
Having the worst time ever too. I am simply trying to import a js file into an aspx file. And keep getting javascript error on page loading, the thing is the only thing in the js file at this time is alert('hello world');
Several people here who have been doing ASP.NET for years are stumped as they have not seen this issue. when they create a project and do what I am trying it works, so it must be some sort of configuration issue in the web file or somewhere else. Where is this configuration done at so i can enable the loading of .js files? I can run js in the page i want to use it on, i just cant run it if its in an external file. I checked rechecked and rechecked and rechecked and rechecked and rechecked and rechecked and rechecked the path that is not the issue.
Help is desperately needed web development is friggin simple but this environment is killing me. A day waste ...
