Accessing ScriptManager inside a shared webmethod

I have a WebMethod declared Public Shared Function and I need to get a reference to the ScriptManager inside the page so that I can set the focus at the end of the method to a certain item (I am having wayyyy more problems than should occur in trying to set focus on a control ).  The problem is, because the method is declared as Shared I can't get access to the Page so I'm not having any luck using ScriptManager.GetCurrent.  Does anyone have any suggestions?
