Hi,
We have an ASP.NET application that uses Windows authentication. Please find the section from Web.Config file down below. Up to this point, we only had one domain but now we have a child domain under the parent domain. Two questions:
What modifications do we need to make in the Web.Config file to give child domain users to access to the application?
What will child domain users appear as i.e. ChildDomain.ParentDomain\UserName?
We currently get the user credentials with this line:
usr = System.Security.Principal.WindowsIdentity.GetCurrent();
And this line gives us ParentDomain\UserName. My question is whether I should expect ChildDomain.ParentDomain\UserName or something else.Here's the Web.Config file section as it currently stands: < Go to the complete details ...
