I would like to programmatically enable some Windows 8 features under Internet Information Service/World Wide Web Service/Application Development Features, such as “.NET Extensibiklity 4.5”, “ASP.NET 4.5”. Here is the command I used in Command Prompt (admin):
start /w pkgmgr /iu:IIS-ApplicationDevelopment;IIS-ASPNET45;IIS-NetFxExtensibility45;IIS-ISAPIExtensions;IIS-ISAPIFilter
The features are not enabled after running the command, without any error.
I found that if manually enable Windows Features/.NET Framework 4.5 Advanced Services/ASP.NET 4.5 first, then run the same command, the features will be enabled!
From the workaround it seems to me I missed a step to enable /.NET Framework 4.5 Advanced Services/ASP.NET 4.5, can someone let me know how to do this programmatically, please?
