I'm extending my MembershipProvider and MembershipUser to fit my companies needs a bit more.  One of the features of my system is the ability for an administrator to assign users to Groups and Roles.  Management above this one-person development team has no opinion on how they want to handle this task, so I need to ask you guys...
How should I handle Roles?  Currently, a user can belong to any number of groups, and within a group, there could be any number of roles. In addition to the roles inherited through the group, the user can have explicitly defined roles which might exist outside the group.
The structure for both Group and Role are as follows:
namespace CompanyWebsite.Classes { public struct Group { public int Id; public string Name; public string Detail; public List Roles;
}

public struct Role
{
public int Id;
public string Nam ...
