Using MemberShip provider with authentication...

Hi,
I set my authentication and MemberShip provider to work with:
- Email activation for using isApproved
- Locked User, after passing the number of trying to login
I set the Login1_LoginError to replay the correct msg each time.
my problem is:
Let say user: User1 is not Approved it,
So, When he enter his user name and password it showing him the correct error msg,
but also when he entered not his correct password.
how can I fix it, to show those error msg - Locked User / not approved User 
only when entering the right password,
and not just by the username?
