How do I format a bound Social Security number ?

Hi;
I tried to figure this one out trying a lot of different format strings so now I am asking for help .
Here is my code :
Text='<%# Eval("SSN")%>' I tried Eval("SSN", "###-##-####"), "999-99-9999".
