I am creating a website with visual web developer to view, edit, and add SQL records that contain information about our network racks company wide. these are forms that pull info fromt the database and display it. i want to allow the user to upload an unlimited amount photos of the racks onto the site and be able to delete photos associated with the records. i was wondering if i should store the photos in the sql database? or set it up so the filenames are in the sql database and the photos are uploaded to a folder on the webserver. how would i do this? would i keep the filenames in the database as a single key then use a delimeter to separate the file names? if i do this will it be easy to delete a single filename from the key? if i keep the photos in the sql database will i have to keep adding columns each time i add a new photo? I have little experiance with sql and asp.net, so im looking for a simple way to set this up.
