We recently upgraded an app to work with the 3.5 framework from 1.1. After the upgrade, we have a situation where read-only asp.net controls, such as a textbox, display text in that familiar gray forecolor.
Previously, the font color remained black. My guess is that in 1.1 the stylesheet setting for this control overrode the fact that the control was read-only, but that is only a guess. Meantime, the users want the font restored to black as it is much easier for them to read.
Does anyone have any idea what I might need to do? You should understand that 99% of the pages in this app are built from a database. If I have to add anything to the control itself, or try to extend the control, then I'll have to disappoint the users.
Thanks!
Ron
