Using VS2005, VB code behind,
I have a master/content page with several content areas. In my main Content area I have an Update panel with various controls, validators and a validationsummary control. All the controls, validators and validationsummary have a validationgroup set to "group1". In another Content (content2) area I have another UpdatePanel that contains several control, a custom validator and anther validationsummary control. All the controls in content2 have a validationgroup set to "someothervalue". The markup in Content2 is displayed in a modalpopupextender. When the modalpopupextender is shown (i.e. content2 is displayed) and I click on a control that causesvalidation, both validationsummary controls get updated with error messages. Is this supposed to happen.
