Ok,
the problem I am having is that the page load on the master page is beginning to get pretty huge and I want to minimize the amount of post back to the server andI read about update panels, and this sounded like an awesome solution.
Site is setup with a tree view on the left side, a header and some buttons, a content area and a footer.
What I basicly want is no postbacks at all, just the content in the update panels updating ;)
Googled and searched alot cus it doesnt really wor, but getting alot of errors and when its working it still generates a post back, big problem is that the updatepanels have big trouble finding the trigger buttons I add to them. They are on the same master page but in a different ContentPlace holder.
The Masterpage is pretty huge but can be viewed here: http://pastebin.com/7Gx4TrdV
What I basicly want is, the whole tree menu in its own update panel so when I TreeView_SelectedNodeChanged in the gridview is up ...
