Hello!
I have encountered a problem during the installation of SQL Server 2008 R2 Express. I started by running the setup file, it extracted some files, after that I proceeded to "new installation or add features to an existing installation" but soon after it crashed,
showing the message:
TITLE: SQL Server Setup failure.

SQL Server Setup has encountered the following error:
MsiGetProductInfo failed to retrieve ProductVersion for package with Product Code = '{6D10FB2C-82A9-40F2-91D0-7BE64CF0DAF2}'. Error code: 1605..
I have no idea what the problem might be. I would be so grateful if somebody had the time to explain what the solution is. Thank you!
