Okay what I'm trying to achieve here is quite simple.
I have a website. I want so provide a search functionality on the site. On every page.. therefore I believe it's a good idea to put that search textbox into the masterpage.
Now once a search is triggered I get the results as a collection. If the collection's Count property happens to be greater than 1 we obviously have multiple search results. I therefore want to redirect users to a SearchResults.aspx page where you can choose what exactly you want to have a closer look at.
If the result count was only 1 I'd directly redirect to another page, let's say "ViewDetails.aspx".
The problem I am facing is.. I need to access the results collection (which I retrieved in the masterpage) in my content pages (searchresults.aspx and viewdetails.aspx).
Of course I could write it to Session and retrieve it again from there... just wondering if that's an appropriate way to go here.
