I want store password on the same way as used in the Adventure Works 2008 sample database with salt and hashing. The passwords will be used in an ASP.NET 3.5 website to authenticate customers on a secure web site to manage products and orders. I can not find information on how the encryption and salt generation is done, to use it in my own project. The password needs to be highly secure because the application is directly faced to the internet and orders can be placed in the application.
