Need Urgent Help, as I am going for my vacation this week end and I was requested to implement this before my leave.
I am developing a Business Object to be used with a Data Source Control, which is in turn used to populate a Drop-Down List on the UI.
On the UI, the Logged on user will Enter a Staff ID as a Parameter, and click a Button to Populate the Drop-Down List using the Staff ID as a Filter.
I have implemented Authentication and Authorization successfully, also, I managed to populate the Drop-Down List using Object Data Source Control without any problem.
The only problem I am facing, is that if the current authenticated user is not authorized to get retrieve the Drop-Down List Entries, then I need to report error message to the UI and stop the population process for the Given Staff ID, for example, the error can be something like this:
