Hi, I'm building a search page for a client and using full text search on a sql database. I post a query string to the results.aspx page with the users search words which i then query against the database using the full text search i set up - this is all working fine.
However, as well as returning a list of relating articles in the db to the user I want to be able to suggest to them - after they have searched - relating categories (which contain a number of articles) dependant on what they have searched.
For example:
result.aspx?search="earthquake+americas"
would return any articles in the db which have those words but also i want to check this querystring against my list of categories. Is there a way of using the LIKE select statement on the querystring as below?
if request.querystring["search"] is LIKE earthquake then label1.text = "why not see our earthquake <a href="somepage.aspx">category</a>?&quo ...

Go to the complete details ...
