I am using a masterpage on my webpage, currently this means all my meta data is repeated on each page.
What I would like to happen is have the ability to put in a pages metadata for that content placeholder eg about us, contact us etc and then pass that into the master page for use as that meta data.
I found an example to do this online but am having problems getting it to work:
