I am fairly new to asp.net and I had a question regarding a project I am working on. We are creating a training request web application where users are able to fill out a request with the ability to route the request to managers for approval. As of right now, the application will email the next person in the routing list when it gets approved.
Now, we are required to send out daily email notifications for managers if they have not approved the training request. For instance, if I need to approve a training, the system will send me an email to do so. If the next day I failed to approve the training, I will be reminded again through an email.
I was able to get this to work locally using the Microsoft.Office.Interop.Outlook namespace by setting a delayed delivery with the datedifference between now and the start of the training. However, I was not able to get this to work on the server because I do not want to i ...
