everytime I create a project with a file upload control, the upload takes forever when it works, and most often it will not work, instead it will simply say page cannot be displayed after 2+ minutes.
However, when I am working on the site locally, or am in the local network of the web server, it seems to work fine.
I have tried uploading the same file to different websites like Myspace etc, and uploading to them is ultra fast but when I use one that I created in VS 2005, it is slow at best.
I have tried to see if what I am doing with the file has any impact, and it doesnt seem to, even if I simply save the file it takes just as long of fails.
The server itself does not apear to be strained, it has 4gb of ram and dual xeon cpus which never go over 15%
what am I missing?
