Anyone willing to help a complete noob to ASP.Net please on passing strings between WebForms?

Hi All,

 Anyone willing to help a complete noob to ASP.Net please on passing strings between WebForms?

I've looked at online videos and stuff and I'm still puzzled by this.

 I can do this with Windows FORMs though.

 Code in either VB or C# please, if you are willing.

 I was even trying to iterate the controls on the starting page called MAIN

 For each ctrl As Control In ( stuck here )

If TypeOf ctrl is TextBox then

If Ctype(ctrl,TextBox).Id = "TextBox1" Then Label1.Text = Ctype(ctrl,TextBox).Text

EndIf
