Regex not recognizing whitespace character....

I'm trying to do this:


Regex regex = new Regex("\s");


But it's telling me it doesn't recognize the escape sequence in the argument I'm passing.  Any ideas why that might be?  I feel like I had this issue a while ago but can't remember how I got around it.
