Remove line break from the textarea(

am working on a intranet mailing application using .net framework 3.5,i used ajax editor to compose message,while storing in the database its storing the editor values along with line breaks and new linbe character.while reading the mail,the line break character also get displayed..i dont want the line break character to get displayed.I need solution for this problem

i would realy appreciate if anyone give steps how to configure smtp to make the mailing appliaction over the inernet.
