A user control public event does show up in intellisense in a Page

I have a user control, whose sample code is as below. I  would think that the event 'ProductCategorySelected'  should be exposed by this user control when it's hosted in a page. But in the page code-behind, the event never shows up in intellisense dropdown for the hosted user control. Am I making some mistake in exposing a event or is there something at play here?
