Printing without dumping entire screen?

I now have an aspx program that grabs sql data and javascript at client dumps out the entire screen with windows.print().  Does anyone have a way to send out print lines dynamically, rather than dumping the entire screen with windows.print()?Something akin to windows.print("my customized report follows") or some such?
