How to do new registration in sql server management studio after upgrade from sql server 2008 to sql server 2008 R2

Hi,
     I had sql server 2008 , after i upgraded it to sql server 2008 R2, now in Management studio the version of the registered connection is not changed from 10.0.1600.22 to 10.50.1600.1. Because of this issue i could not restore the backup file from the another sql server 2008 R2. Please provide a solution for this situation.
