Window Web Server and ASP.Net Ajax

Hi All

 We have a MS Window Web Server and a client who wants to utilise the ASP.net Ajax services on his web site.

Can anyone point me in the right direction of what we have to do to get started, i kind off understand what it is thats required and i'm an IT expert(ish)
But its not extremely clear what needs to be running on the web server.

 Is it just a case of installing the .Net framework - the latest version?
