Hi,
I'm implementing finding broken link with my application. I'm checking for links for broken based on response returned by webresponse. Links list contains pages (like .html, asp etc) and downloadable file (like .pdf, .doc not gif/jpg) etc.
I'm not sure how to handle url which contains downloadable file and how to verify if broken. This url may be valid but request may end in "time out." How can I verify if downloadable type url not broken? Any idea?
