I have a gridview that uses a data connection to direct users to another page.  If the "active" data element is NULL a value is not displayed.  If there is a value in the "active" column, then a value is displayed.  Occasionally we have a blank field, so it isn't evaluated as NULL and therefore a value is incorrectly displayed.  I am trying to evaluate different values in the "active" field such as "A" and "I" and then make the link visible.  I have searched this forum and other resources and find several suggestions, but the different syntax attempts fail to create something like:
IF Value="A" set visible true ELSE false
 - A little help please.

Current Code:<asp:HyperLink ID="HyperLink2" NavigateUrl='<%# Eval("ID","web_page.aspx?id={0}& ...
