Button to control labelvalue but failed

I have a form with 3 controls:

Label that displays value of 1, 2, 3, ..or 10
On page 1st load set it to 1
Button1 - click of it to increase value of lablevalue by 1
Button2 - click of it to decrease value of labelvalue by 1


My code as follows but both directions are not displaying desired results . What is wrong with my code ? It seems it keeps setting label value to 1 on any button click first.

Apart from pageload event, is there any page 1st load event ? Any solutions ? Pls advise in VB.
