Simple URL Rewriting

I've been looking for a simple solution to URL Rewriting but all the ones I found had errors or issues with .css/postback and all that jazz. One even continually caused a "Sys" unidentified error that caused me hours of research to figure out what was causing it.

 But anyway. Is there a feature that comes out of the box with ASP.NET that allows simple URL rewriting?

What I want to do is setup a "profile" such thing, so:

User navigates to another user's profile http://profilesite.com/UserName

where UserName is a member in the database. What I want that to redirect to is:

http://profilesite.com/viewprofile.aspx?uid=UserName
