I have a table (well two, that work the same) and need to validate dates that the user updates in the table. This is the same as the validation used in the section underneath the table to insert data. I have managed to check the induvidual dates in the GV, as thats simple. What I need is to run the following JS using a CustomValidator. Previously it took the values from the start date and end date text boxes and made sure that the "End" is after the "Start" date. This needs to be done in the GV when the end-date textbox has lost focus (the validator will kick in then).
Now, my problem is the fact I have no idea how to access the start-date textbox from the JavaScript function when the validator connects it using the end-date text box. Basically, the same method used to access the end-date text box is different from the start-date, although that row is in edit mode and both columns have textboxes for editing... heres my function (called buy the ...
